  • What is That Building on the Hillside Across the Valley That I Can See From The Balcony? - That is the Torreon Clubhouse and the Torreon Grille, a five star grill and bar with a stunning outdoor dining balcony. The Torreon Grill is open to the public seasonally, but reservations are strongly recommended. The flicker that you can see in the evening is the large outdoor gas fire-pit out on their balcony.   • Can I Play Golf at Torreon if I Rent the Torreon Treehouse? - Unfortunately, the newest HOA rules do not allow for guest golf privileges. However, the Bison Golf Club is just 5 minutes away and is open to the public. 

  • Does the Rental Include Use of the Torreon Amenities? - No, The HOA that governs the amenities at HOA charge a separate fee and procedure to gain access to the amenities. This may be an option for an extra fee, but it is not included in the rental. Contact your host for more info. 

  • Is the Torreon Treehouse Secluded? - No, the property is on the golf course across from the Torreon Club House. Although it has direct access to a wooded common space, the treehouse is more of a resort feel than secluded. 

  • Can I walk on the Golf Course? - Sort of. The Golf Course is private property and is off limits to the public for any use other than golf. However, the Golf Course management does allow guests to walk the cart paths only before 7am. Be sure to yield to any golf course traffic. 

  • What do I do if the Power Goes Out? - Great question! The area does have power outages that are typically very brief about once every three months or so. The Torreon Treehouse has rechargeable emergency use flashlights plugged in at various locations throughout the house. If the power goes out, these lights will turn on automatically to direct you to their location. Simply unplug the light and you can carry it around as needed until power is restored.

  • What kind of coffee maker is available? - There is both a K-cup single brewer and a small traditional coffee maker. 

  • Is there a hair dryer provided? - Yes! There is a hairdryer in the downstairs guest bathroom vanity drawer. 

  • Is there an iron and an ironing board available? - Yes, they are located in the downstairs game closet.

  • Is a portable crib available? - Unfortunately not. You will need to bring your own if you need one. 

  • Is the Treehouse child friendly? - Yes, Kids LOVE the Torreon Treehouse. We do, however, recommend caution for those with early walker aged children. With 3 fireplaces, an open staircase down the the lower level, very tall balconies, and two high edges on the driveway, younger children should be supervised at all times. 

  • Is the Treehouse handicap accessible? - There are two big steps up to get to the front door and upper level. Navigating a staircase is required to reach the lower level as well.
